Legendary skateboarder CaraBeth Burnside, rode for H-Street for a short time in the 80’s and has a clip in one of our original video’s, Hokus Pokus.
CaraBeth was also the first female skater to be featured on the cover of Thrasher Magazine, riding Eddie Elguera’s signature deck. This was in 1989! She’s won a number of prominent competitions and medals, including a couple of X Games Gold.
CaraBeth has been instrumental in promoting Girls Skating at a time when very few were all that interested and it’s a mission she carries with her to this day. And if that wasn’t enough, she was also on the US Olympic team for snowboarding!
So, we could not be more excited to team up with this historic, legendary rider and promoter of girls skateboarding.
