JD Sanchez rides regular stance, is 17 years old from Pleasanton, California, originally from Hawaii. JD is one of the top young vert skaters in the world, known for his composure under pressure, risk-taking style and technical tricks. JD started skating at age 6 and quickly rose as one of the top young talents in skateboarding.
JD has earned multiple X Games medals, including two Silvers in Men’s Vert, and landed his first 900 in 2024. JD has now won multiple Jackalope contests, including the 2026 Ventura, California contest where he scored a 99 by the judges, a score no one has ever made and all done with a broken arm, nonetheless.
JD is a solid part of the H-Street team and is working on several projects that will be launching right here on H-Street.
