Bob Hickman drew this Sailor Jerry tattoo style version of the classic and legendary Matt Hensley Street Swinger. It’s an homage to early tattoo art and Bob worked with one of his tattoo buddies to get this as authentic as possible. T-Mag got in on the game and did the production work and some of the effects.

Like many of us, Bob Hickman is a huge Matt Hensley fan and seems to have an endless amount creativity and ideas of how to re imagine classic H-Street graphics as well as new art and of course, we are most appreciative.

The decks are made in the USA with the best Hard Rock Maple and printed here in California and come in standard street shapes. The top veneers are mixed colors; the image is a representation of the top graphic and not necessarily the exact stain color.

About Matt Hensley

Matt Hensley started to ride a skateboard in the late 70’s, while all the really great skate parks were still around. His local park was Surf de Earth Skatepark in Vista CA, where many of the legendary San Diego Pro’s, like Doug “Pineapple” Saladino, Dennis Martinez, Shogo Kubo and Dave Andrecht also skated.

During the 80’s, Matt became a household name in the world of skateboarding through his unique approach, style and progressive street skating, in which he and a few other super talented young street riders would change skateboarding forever.

In 2018, Matt got inducted into the Skateboarding Hall of Fame, Matt remains a legend in skateboarding and significant part of H-Street, both past and present.
